Geelong PDC Course April 2012 – Permaculture Design Certificate course

The next Permaculture Design Certificate course in Freshwater Creek near Geelong, Victoria is being held in April from the 1st to the 15th.

Rick Coleman from Southern Cross Permaculture Institute will be the main tutor and if numbers exceed 15 we will also have Kat Lavers and we will also have 2 very skilled local guest tutors who will be doing a session each.

Bookings are now open and the deposit needs to be paid by the 15th February.

Free business planning for non-profit groups

Would you like FREE expert advice on business planning for your not-for-profit organisation?

The Office for the Community Sector, in partnership with Small Business Victoria and the Small Business Mentoring Service, is running the Business Planning for NFP Organisations Program from
November 2011 through to June 2012.

Through the program, 72 community organisations across six locations will be able to attend free business planning workshops followed by four individual business mentoring sessions. This opportunity for small to medium community organisations to improve their basic business planning skills and access one-on-one advice aims to:

- Help identify and develop solutions to business problems
- Assist with development of a strategic action plan to assist with business, marketing and financial planning
- Increase and further develop your existing business skills.
